Caleb

Caleb is now 6 months old. I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. He is so much fun. He is always giggling and smiling. The other day at the grocery store he had 5 clerks all looking at him making him smile. What a flirt! Many of you saw the video I posted a while ago of him kicking. He is still kicking like that but it has evolved from the "Riverdance kick" to a more "bicycle exercise kick". I can hardly change his diaper or dress him cause he is always kicking so hard and fast. I have this fear that as soon as he learns how to crawl he will go a million miles an hour since he kicks so fast. He has also learned how to roll over both ways. As soon as we put him on the floor he instantly rolls onto his tummy and gets stuck. He is also becoming quite a violent pincher and scratcher. He expecially loves to grab arm hair and Ben's chest hair. We had his 6 month check up and he is 15 pounds 8 ounces. He is in the 15th percentile for weight, 10th for height and 70th for head. Wow- we have a little Charlie Brown! His head is like an orange on a toothpick. =)

He fell asleep sitting in Ben's lap. He always grabs his head and/or ears when he's sleeping. We still have to swaddle him at night cause he'll wake himself up by scratching his head.
He loves playing with his toes. I have a picture of Danny jsut like this when he was this age. Too bad Id on't have a digital copy. His cheeks are always so chapped because he is such a drooler.

Love the tongue! He is such a drool monster. Our carpet is covered in his spit-up and drool. Yum! Don't worry- I clean it up. =)
