We decided last minute to go to Utah so we could make it to Ben's family reunion as well as his 10 year high school reunion since they were both the day before we were going to go on our trip to Yellowstone. We were only in Utah for a day and a half and it was a whirlwind of a trip. On Day 1 we went to Ben's family reunion at a campsite outside of Kamas. 
This is Danny after we'd been at the campsite for only about 30 minutes. Impressive! Everyone loved the raccoon look- all accidental of course. Danny loved playing in the dirt and Caleb loved crawling around trying to eat rocks.
Ben's mom watched the kids while we went to the high school reunion in Ogden. It was very high-school reunion-like. =)
Day 2 we got to go visit Ben's dad and go swimming in their pool. Danny loved it.
Ben couldn't resist the cool water on such a HOT Utah day and so he jumped in. (He's in the upper right jumping off the diving board.)

We then went and met my sister and her fam at the Children's Museum. It was so fun to see them- even if it was only for a little while. Danny had tons of fun with his cousins, Brayden and Christina. The museum was really fun too. I'm not sure who had more fun, Ben or Danny.
Ben loved teaching Danny how to fill up the car with gas and check the tires.

After the Children's Discovery Museum we decided to go and check out Build-A-Bear. It was pretty cute. Danny chose a bear named Stanley. Ben was all worried that he would choose the princess outfit to dress Stanley in since in the recent past Danny was all about princesses and anything pink- weird I know. My friend Tammy suggested that we should get him a shirt that says "Real Boys Wear Pink". I definitely agree. Anyways he chose a nice truck shirt with sunglasses as his only accessory. Ben was very relieved.

Sounds like a great va k so far! Isn't it funny how boys can get dirty so fast! Thirty minutes there and he looks like he's been living in the wild ;) Glad the bear was manly, for Ben's sake
