Before Christmas I decided to be adventurous and give Danny his first experience of making Christmas sugar cookies. It was a big crazy and messy but hopefully it was a good memory for Danny.
Caleb contributed by eating the cookies and putting them in his hair. 
Putting the tree together. Danny was a great help this year. He loved every minute of decorating the tree.
We couldn't put ornaments on the bottom 2 feet of our tree cause Caleb would get them. So the top 2/3 of the tree was pretty!
At our church Christmas party Danny had the opportunity to see Santa. We decided to bring the letter he had written to Santa since we hadn't "mailed" it yet so he could read it to Santa himself.

If you look close enough you can see his adorable letter- even though it's upside down. He wrote "Dear Santa" himself and then drew pictures of everything he wanted- tools and Wall-E. I love how he and his friend Brooke are holding hands.
Danny was so excited to show Santa the letter but froze and didn't talk to him. When we were on our way home he was worried that Santa wouldn't know what he wanted since he didn't tell him. We reassured him that the letter was enough.
I love this picture- it just cracks me up.

Oh my goodness---your family is so cute! And I know what you mean about Christmas cookies. It is a big crazy mess but it does make for awesome holiday memories!

Fantastic! I can't believe how big Danny is getting - he looks all grown up in these pictures, I love his letter to Santa, and Caleb's face in the last one is awesome!!
ooohhh! i LOVE the picture of brooke and danny! so sweet! i'm glad you had fun with your family. it's still shocking to me how much you and your sister sound and look alike!
