Danny's Birthday Party

About a month ago we had a birthday party for Danny. It was Mickey Mouse themed and we had 5 of his friends. We made puppets, shrinky-dinks, and played outside on the swing set and in the sand box. It turned out great. We played "Pin the nose on Mickey" but the tie blindfold didn't work very well. The kids had a hard time grasping the concept too- they kept saying that they couldn't see. Danny kept peaking too. Oh well- it was still fun.
Aren't these kids so cute?!?
Playing cars. Danny was SUPER anxious to do the cake so he wouldn't do anything but bug me about it. Maybe next time we need to do that first.
Emily, Kerrie, Brookelyn, Danny, Tucker and Tesla.
Opening presents. It was a group effort.
One of my friends, Stacey J. made this AMAZING cake for Danny. She makes all sorts of cakes for different occasions and I had her make this for Danny. It turned out super cute! Danny was super excited and absolutely loved it.

We could hardly get ourselves to cut the cake cause it was just so cute.
All the kids loved the cake and wanted multiple pieces. Not only was it gorgeous on the outside but it tasted yummy too.
So all in all the party was a success. I must admit it was very exhausting though.
