Tagged!

I was tagged months ago by my friend Lyndsey and I have procrastinated it until now. Sorry Lyndsey. =) So here it is.
Here is how it works: You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

My middle name is Marie.

M is for Mommy. I must say this is a cheap, easy one but I have to put it on anyways. Sometimes I feel like my whole identity is defined as being a mother. I also feel like sometimes I have lost my individual personality. Don't get me wrong- I LOVE being a mom with all of it's ups and downs. But at times I feel like even though I'm only 27, at times I feel like an old, lame grown-up. So I will say this is definitely a positive thing with only some minor negatives.

A is for Analytical. (I stole this one from my friend Lyndsey) I definitely have a tendency to over-analyze EVERYTHING. It was pretty awful in college and I would analyze every little thing that guys would do and all that stuff. I look too deeply into things at times.

R is for responsible. I must say I'm a pretty organized, detail oriented person for the most part. I am definitely a list person and I like to have things planned out. Ben came from a family that usually likes to fly by the seat of their pants and just go with the flow, whereas I came from an extremely organized family. My dad would have itineraries for every family vacation- planned up to the hour for what we were going to do. These differences in family backgrounds make trips interesting sometimes but it always manages to work out and we always seem to have fun too.

I is for Imaginatve. I must say I have a quite overactive imagination. I used to be able to watch scary movies, but now I can't watch ANYTHING. I was even freaked out when I had to get up in the middle of the night with Caleb while I was reading “Twilight”. I absolutely refuse to watch any horror movies and rarely even watch the news since it always has so many awful kidnapping, rape and murder stories. I get my news from the Internet and from Ben.

E is for Educator. I graduated in Early Childhood Education and love everything to do with that. I have been doing some educational games with Danny- kind of a home-school preschool. And NO- I won't home-school. I also love to make little file folder games for him. He has fun and is learning at the same time. That is always my goal.

So the moment of truth- I tag Candida K, Janelle D, Kristin F, Lindsay S, and Amy V.

That is fun, but what do I do if I don't have a middle name? Actually I do now, but I didn't growing up. I love how you said that you would get scared waking up in the night while reading Twilight. It was pretty intense, but that is still hilarious.
