Caleb is 1!

This last week Caleb turned 1. I can hardly believe it's been a year. Last weekend we celebrated at my parents with presents and a cake and then on his actual bday we went and got a balloon and opened some more presents from Ben's mom.
He didn't quite understand what was going on.
He sure liked all the attention and all the cameras though.

We thought he would be totally into opening presents since he loves playing with and ripping paper but I guess that's only when he's not supposed to.

Caleb got a Little People Noah's Ark, a coat and a toy phone from us and my parents.

This is the cutest stuffed dog/book.

Of course immediately after Caleb opened his presents Danny claimed them for himself. Caleb was fine with sharing.

Here are some videos of opening presents and eating cake. He of course didn't quite get the concept and couldn't stay still long enough to do anything about the presents. He sure liked them when they were open though.

He acted like we were poisoning him when we gave him some cake. He always does that when he first tries a new food but it seemed to grow on him.
